St James’s Piccadilly - A Church of Hate

A Church of Hate

Posted by Melanie Phillips

1819 riots in Frankfurt, from a contemporary engraving by Johann Michael Voltz. On the left, two peasant women are assaulting a Jew with pitchfork and broom. On the right, a man wearing tails and a six-button waistcoat, An open letter to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

Dear Archbishop,

I read with interest your Christmas Day sermon, in which you said:
‘The Christian meaning of Christmas is unconditional love received, love overflowing into a frequently love-lost world.’

I wonder how you reconcile this with the fact that one of your churches, St James’s Piccadilly, chose Christmas to turn itself into a church of hate?

As I am sure you know only too well, this church spent eight months preparing its Christmas stunt, the erection of an 8 metre-tall, 30 metre-long replica of the Israeli ‘wall’ that it claims surrounds Bethlehem and imposes ‘desperate hardship’ on the town’s inhabitants.
Although the church acknowledges in passing that the original purpose of this ‘wall’ was ‘to protect Israeli citizens from terrorism’, it suggests instead that its only result has been to oppress and harass innocent Palestinians. The inevitable effect of this wholly mendacious and malevolent travesty will be to incite hatred against Israel and all who support its defence against the war of extermination being perpetrated against it.

St James’s has put out a pious statement that it
‘… opposes all forms of racism including antisemitism and supports the right of the State of Israel to exist with secure internationally recognised borders’.

I’m afraid this really is the most nauseating cant.

If this church were really concerned to stop antisemitism and allow Israel to live in peace with its neighbours, it would have acknowledged that Palestinian children are being routinely taught to hate and murder Israelis (see this or this for example).

If this church really supported Israel’s right to exist within secure borders, it would have acknowledged the refusal by Mahmoud Abbas (leave aside Hamas) ever to acknowledge Israel as a Jewish state; or the repeated Palestinian attempts to attack and murder Israelis, too many of which have been all too successful.

But the church made no mention of any of this. Instead, its ‘wall’ stunt is based on an eye-watering collection of the most vicious and blatant lies and distortions. Here are some truths it has omitted:
·      The ‘wall’ does not surround Bethlehem.
·      For most of its length it is not a wall at all but a simple chain link fence.
·      It has been constructed not to oppress Palestinians but solely to prevent Israelis from being murdered by Arabs.
·      This security barrier has had to be built as a wall alongside one area of Bethlehem because a fence here – cheek by jowl with Jerusalem – would be insufficient to prevent the very real threat of some of its inhabitants murdering large numbers of Israelis.
·      The undoubted hardships caused by this barrier are solely the result of the ever-continuing attempts by some of those living behind it to murder yet more Israelis.
·      Since this security barrier was constructed, the number of Israelis murdered in terrorist attacks has decreased by some 70 per cent – while the number of attempted attacks remains high.
Those like St James’s Church who want the barrier to be demolished thus inescapably imply that they are indifferent to the murder of Israelis. Is this what you meant, Archbishop, by
‘unconditional love received, love overflowing into a frequently love-lost world’?

There are other glaring omissions and distortions. The church makes no mention of the fact that, as shown here, Rachel’s Tomb, one of Judaism’s holiest sites which is very near Bethlehem and where many attacks have taken place against Jewish worshippers, really has been walled off and turned into a kind of fortress – to protect Jews from further attacks by Arabs.
It unaccountably makes no mention of the fact that, while the Christians of the Middle East are – as you said in your sermon and as Michael Curtis details here – being persecuted and murdered, the only country in the region where Christians are thriving and increasing, in a society that allows them total freedom of worship, is Israel.

It unaccountably makes no mention of the fate of the Christians of Bethlehem and other areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority, detailed here in The Commentator by Steve Apfel:
‘One of the few Arab Christians who has dared to break the silence is Pastor Reverend Naim Khoury of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. At the risk of his life he notes that animosity towards the Christian minority in areas controlled by the PA has worsened and that, “people are always telling Christians, convert to Islam.” Khoury may have lived to tell the tale, but he moved Palestinian leaders to close down his Bethlehem church.'

St James’s makes no mention of any of this. Instead, from tomorrow it will host a hate-fest of anti-Israel activists and personalities, whose contribution to the store of love and truth in the world is described by Richard Millett here.
Israel is currently the victim of a mind-bending campaign of demonisation and delegitimisation based on falsehoods, libels and gross distortions. Your church, Archbishop, has now become part of this sinister and wicked attempt to exterminate a country by reversing truth and lies in the minds of decent people.

You surely do not need me to tell you that this anti-Israel bigotry in your church – going far beyond St James’s, Piccadilly – is infused by a revival of the ancient Christian calumny that the Jews have forfeited God’s love and all the promises he made to them on account of their refusal to believe in Jesus, as a result of which they were to be considered in league with the devil.

This terrible doctrine of ‘supersessionism’, which was responsible for centuries of Christian persecution and mass murder of the Jews, has become resurgent in recent years through the influence of Palestinian Christians who have attempted to rewrite the Bible as a lexicon of hate to further the cause of Palestinianism. To that end, they have attempted to airbrush the Jews out of their own history, while seeking to appropriate the Christian story itself by depicting Palestinians as suffering the torments of Jesus. Cashing in on this trend, Mahmoud Abbas ludicrously referred in his own Christmas message to Jesus – the Jew from Judea – as a Palestinian.

The influence upon your Church, Archbishop, of this virulent cocktail of ancient theological bigotry and exterminatory Palestinianism cannot be exaggerated.

In a climate in which every Jewish communal or religious event, every Jewish school and institution in Britain has to be guarded against attack, and in which there is a direct correlation between the emotive lies told about Israel and attacks on Jews and Jewish institutions, for one of your churches to lend itself to such incitement is simply obscene.

The ‘wall’ is of course a stunt. But the damage it has done to the Church of England is immense. Because what it does is put the Church on the side of lies and hatred against truth and justice. It has put the Church of England on the side of evil.

The only purpose of Israel’s security barrier is to save life and prevent mass murder. The only purpose of the St James’s Church ‘Bethlehem Unwrapped’ stunt is to stir up hatred.
To stay silent is to make the rest of the Church an accessory to this obscenity. I therefore trust that you will take all necessary steps to counter the calumny promulgated by St James’s and prevent the stain upon the wider Church from now spreading.

Yours in hope,
Melanie Phillips

Let world judge Israel by single standard, let world judge those who condemn Israel by same standard

Boycotting Israel Photo: REUTERS

A paradigmatic characteristic of all bigotry is to take a fault that is widespread among all cultures, races, religions and nationalities and to attribute it singularly to one group.

For example: “Blacks are violent.” “Jews are cheap.” “Asians are sly.” “Gays are pedophiles.” “Women are irrational.” “Romanies (gypsies) cheat.”

The truth, of course, is that all groups have some among them with these negative characteristics.

The bigots who make these claims correctly point to the fact that some members of these groups display the negative characteristics attributed to the groups as a whole.

But the bigotry consists of singling out any such group for unique condemnation on the basis of these widespread faults without acknowledging that members of other groups have them as well, sometimes in greater proportion than the group that is singled out.

This is precisely what is occurring in the context of the nation state of the Jewish people, Israel, being singled out for boycotts, divestment and sanctions.

As the president of the American Studies Association, Curtis Marez, acknowledged, after his organization singled out Israel for an academic boycott: Many other countries, including all of Israel’s neighbors, have far worse records when it comes to human rights and academic freedom.

Moreover, other countries (including China, Russia and Turkey) have had longer and far more oppressive occupations than Israel without offering (as Israel has) to end the occupation as part of a negotiated peace. But Prof.

Marez’s response to the charge of bigotry in applying the double standard to the nation state of the Jewish people was “We have to start somewhere.”

That is the characteristic response of the bigot. When it comes to condemning violence, we have to start somewhere, so let’s target African-Americans for stop and frisk. When it comes to stopping pedophilia, “we have to start somewhere” so let’s start with profiling gays. Surely this would be recognized as bigotry personified.

Marez’s benighted response is more than simply bigoted, it is mendacious.

His association is not simply starting with Israel, it is stopping with Israel. A vote to boycott Chinese, Cuban, Russian or Palestinian academic institutions— which are worse by every measure of civil liberties, human rights and academic freedom than Israeli institutions – would garner few, if any, votes. This too is the paradigm of bigotry: starting and ending with one ethnic or religious group and applying a different standard to every other group.

When Harvard University adopted a quota system directed only against Jewish applicants, its president, A. Lawrence Lowell, justified singling out Jews, because, he claimed, “Jews cheat.”

When told that Christians cheat, too, he responded: “You’re changing the subject. We’re talking about Jews now.”

He too had to start and stop somewhere. So he singled out the Jews. Was this anti-Semitic? The answer to the question, is the singling out of the nation state of the Jewish people for an academic boycott an act of anti-Semitism, the answer is, if the shoe fits ...

Here not only does the shoe fit, but like Cinderella’s slipper, the bigoted shoe in this case fits only one group: academic institutions in the nation state of the Jewish people.

There are those who claim that the BDS movement against Israel cannot be anti-Semitic, because it is directed at a country and not at individuals. But by treating Israel as the Jew among nations – singling it out for condemnation when others are far worse by any relevant standard – the advocates of BDS are simply expanding the notion of anti-Semitism beyond the individual to the nation state of the Jewish people. When Nazis condemned “Jewish physics,” “Jewish art” and “Jewish business practices,” they too claimed that they were focusing on Jewish institutions rather than Jewish individuals. That defense won’t work. Treating the Jew among nations precisely the way classic anti-Semites have treated the Jewish people is simply a new adaptation of the oldest of prejudices.

So let the world condemn those who single out the nation state of the Jewish people for the application of a double standard. Let the world understand that bigotry is bigotry whether directed against the Jew among nations or the Jew within nations.

Let those who want to boycott nations apply the simple test of morality: the worst first. Let them apply another moral test: focusing first on those countries in which dissent is not tolerated and in which there is no internal recourse against violations of human rights.

Applying these tests to Israel would put the nation state of the Jewish people at the very bottom of countries deserving to be boycotted. But by ignoring the worst and condemning a nation that is near the very top in terms of human rights, academic freedom and the rule of law, the bigotry of the condemners becomes obvious.

So let the world judge Israel by a single standard and let the world judge those who condemn Israel by that same standard.

Joel Leyden: Tourism To Israel Reaches Record High

The following was communicated to Joel Leyden, publisher of the Israel News Agency:

ALL-TIME RECORD IN TOURISM ENTRIES FOR NOVEMBER:
15% INCREASE ON LAST YEAR;
3% MORE THAN 2010 AND 5% MORE THAN 2011
306,000 VISITOR ENTRIES RECORDED IN NOVEMBER 2013, 10% MORE THAN NOVEMBER 2012
3.3 MILLION VISITOR ENTRIES RECORDED JAN-NOV 2013, ALMOST IDENTICAL TO SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR

Tourism Ministry estimates that 2013 will close with slight increase on visitor entries from the record year of 2012. This, despite the fact that incoming tourism had to deal with issues related to the security situation and the government budget. As a result of the marketing efforts and the development of new markets alongside maintaining existing markets, the annual contribution of tens of billions of shekels made by tourism to the economy has been maintained.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, 306,000 visitors entered Israel in November 2013, 10% more than November 2012 (Operation Pillar of Defense), and slightly less than the months of November 2010 and 2011.  Of these visitor entries, 256,000 were tourists (staying more than one night), 15%  more than November 2012, and 3% and 5% more than November 2010 and 2011 -  an all-time record for the month. November also saw a reduction of 41% in the number of day visitors from Sinai into Israel from last year (because of the instability in Egypt), a continuation of the improvement from August -October 2013. There was however an improvement in the number of day visitors as compared to August-September 2013, with a 90% decrease. October 2013 did not include the Jewish holidays, so an increase in incoming tourism would be expected.

220,000 entries were by air, 19% more than November 2012, of which 8,000 arrived on direct flights to Eilat (6% less than November 2012) . 36,000 came through the border crossings, 7% less than November 2012; 27,000 came through the border with Jordan (1% increase) and about 9,200 through Taba to Eilat (23%  less than last November).

49,000 entries were recorded by day visitors, 9% less than November 2012. Of these, 32,000 arrived on cruise ships (40% more than last November). 15,000 day visitors arrived via the land crossings (48% decrease on November 2012) and about 2,000 by air (10% more than last November).

January-November 2013
Since the beginning of 2013 through November, about 3.3 million tourists and day visitors arrived in Israel, almost identical to the same period in 2012, 6% more than 2011 and 3% more than 2010. Of these entries, 2.7 million were tourists, a slight increase on the same period in 2012, 4% more than 2011 and 5% more than 2010.  2.4 million entries were recorded by air, 3% more than the same period in 2012.

About 547,000 entries were day visitors, 7% less than the same period last year. Of these entries, about 245,000 came on cruise ships, 7% more than in 2012. 179,000 came via the border crossings (35% less than 2012) and 123,000 by air (41% increase).

TOURISM MINISTER DR.UZI LANDAU:
"Tourists continue to arrive in Israel from all over the world in growing numbers and see Israel as a safe and attractive tourist destination. The tourists choose to stay in a variety of different accommodation options, allowing the income generated to be dispersed across all sections of the population; small and large businesses, in the cities and in the periphery, can make a decent living from incoming tourism - and so it should be. The Tourism Ministry welcomes the increase in tourism and will continue to work tirelessly to increase incoming tourism, including next year."

FBI Investigating JIDF, David Brotsky For Hacking, Fraud, Harassment

FBI Investigating JIDF, David Brotsky For Hacking, Fraud, Harassment

FBI investigates Brotsky for hacking, fraud.

By Karen Levy
Israel News Agency

Jerusalem, Israel --- June 23, 2013 … The so-called Jewish Internet Defense Force or JIDF is being investigated by the FBI for computer hacking, fraud and criminal harassment.
The so-called JIDF was created a few years ago by David Brotsky who goes under several aliases on both Facebook and Twitter. Among them are David Appletree, David Pitch and The Jewess.

David Brotsky has attacked several leading, respected Jewish and Christian leaders and organizations. Among them are Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israel President Shimon Peres, the ADL, Nefesh b’Nefesh, Jewish Federations of North America, Christians United for Israel, The Jewish Agency and the IDF – Israel Defense Forces.

David Brotsky, who is an American citizen living on the Upper West side of New York is not an Israeli citizen, has never served in the IDF yet attacks those who do.

Brotsky has recently targeted respected Israeli journalist and international media consultant Joel Leyden and Israeli border policeman, Israeli anti-terror consultant Phillip Pasmanick.
“If there was ever a case of Lashon Hara on Facebook and Twitter which means libel and slander this is it,” says Joel Leyden

“He calls me a rapist and convicted criminal in blogs and other Websites. Now that would not be so bad if there were convictions or even court appearances involved. Brotsky, who hides behind proxy servers, attacks anyone who criticizes him and throws out venemous Disneyland charges in the process.”

Leyden adds: “But Brotsky's campaigns of libel and slander are nothing compared to his hacking of computers. He hacked one of my email accounts. How can I prove this? Because David Brotsky admits it in an email he sent to me and others. This crosses every red line.”

Leyden filed charges against David Brotsky with the Federal Bureau of Investigation this past week.

“As an Internet pioneer, there is very little that I have not seen on the Web,” says Leyden who co-created Israel’s first commercial Website back in 1995 and helped create the IDF cyber unit. Leyden has served as a senior consultant to the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.

“Brotsky, who has been banned at both Wikipedia and Facebook under his alias David Appletree, and has no support from any Jewish or Israeli organization, defines the essence of a cyber bully. He thinks that he can hide behind a computer screen and throw rocks at anyone he wants. Many people have asked him to stop his libelous attacks with no success. I have worked with the FBI before, they are pros at this kind of destructive, criminal behavior. I know that the FBI will put an end to this kind of malicious activity and seek out those who helped David Brotsky perpetrate these criminal and civil crimes.”

Alain Horoit, an entrepreneur and creator of the 55,000 member Hatikvah group on Facebook states: “We are living in an era where Internet has eased the possibility to bully and slander any group or individuals.”

Horoit continues: ”This appears to have become the new trend and will reach new proportions despite bullying and defamation to be illegal and criminal. I recently created Stop Lashon Hara, a newly launched Website that will shed light on many false accusations which are too quickly and unjustly been spread on the Internet. If you too are a victim of online bullying, defamation or falsely accused, contact the Webmaster at info@stoplashonhara.com

Israel border policeman Phillip Pasmanick: “The JIDF seems to be run by a someone who’s ramblings reflect a megalomania disposition. He often uses the same retorts or rebuttals (using fake names) against anyone criticizing him, or calling out his rampant online abuse. His targets, many who continue to work endlessly supporting & defending Israel may have been picked out because the JIDF has become impotent in the last few years (as seen by his continual re-posting of very old accomplishments) and they think that by eliminating us, they’ll ‘shine’ once again.”

Pasmanick adds: “There is no place for personal attacks and or slander in the Facebook community, Twitter or any public forum.”

This is not the first time that JIDF and David Brotsky’s had a brush with the FBI. Earlier this year the JIDF’s Twitter account posted several messages that claimed they wished to arm individuals in “every major city” and use vigilante justice against people who disagreed with them on the Internet, i.e. “trolls”. The threats have since been deleted from their timeline. Several people have apparently contacted the FBI and Department of Homeland Security in the United States.

Joel Leyden: Leyden Digital PR, Reputation Management, Social Media Group Expands

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/30/2013 -- Joel Leyden, President of the Leyden Digital PR, Reputation Management and Social Media Group announced today the expansion of their professional digital services.

"We were among the first to provide on-line digital PR, crisis communications, SEO and branding solutions since 1994," said Joel Leyden. "Leyden Communications was born on Madison Ave and evolved into a full service digital PR and social media group after we were approached to create the first commercial Website in Israel in 1994. Leyden Digital PR provides professional, global consultancy services to governments, commercial and non-profit organizations."

Joel Leyden adds: "Our digital PR, integrated marketing and branding services have expanded to include every facet of public relations and public affairs on the Internet. In New York our NewYorkDigitalPr.comaddresses the Greater New York region with our extensive knowledge of both the demographics and industries. In Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Israel our IsraelPr.com group has been operating for over 25 years helping the government to reach media markets and political leaders on every continent. IsraelPr.com has been extremely successful in creating both media and cross-cultural bridges for commercial and non-profit organizations in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa. These industries include hi-tech,  healthcare, tech, financial PR, food and beverage, tourism, fashion, defense and security."

Joel Leyden continues: "Today we are transcending the New York and Israel markets as we are presently negotiating with PR and advertising agencies in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and Asia.  It's critically important to have partners in these regions who speak and understand the native culture. Our online reputation management services provide immediate online reputation management and crisis communications solutions which include controlling one's personal and commercial image on a variety of search engines including Google, BING and AOL."

"Leyden Digital spends an equal amount of time working on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube to provide positive visibility for our clients," says Joel Leyden. "And we will go well beyond monitoring a company's name on Google, Facebook or Twitter if our clients are being slandered and or libeled."

Joel Leyden states that his digital PR company recently contacted the FBI regarding an individual who was criminally harassing and actually hacking two of his international clients.

"There are times when creating new Websites, news stories and blogs are not sufficient in addressing illegal activities on the Internet. I have also recently come under illegal on-line harassment. The FBI and INTERPOL are more than well equipped to address criminal activity on the Internet. They successfully defend nations from cyber warfare and individuals from being threatened and harassed," says Joel Leyden.

Joel Leyden says that Leyden Digital PR has partnerships with attorneys in the US, Europe and Israel who specialize in cyber law and they are prepared to tackle any personal attack that may arise.

"The demand for professional, online digital PR and reputation management solutions have come to the forefront in the wired world," says Joel Leyden. "Anyone can say anything about anybody in today's Google, Facebook and Twitter world. As such Leyden Digital PR is now investing private capital and seeking partnerships with other digital PR firms worldwide."

Joel Leyden, who co-created the Israel Defense Forces cyber unit and consults both Israeli and US governmental organizations on messaging and branding online, is creating professional, private cyber PR task force units to address threats to governments, commercial, non-profit organizations and individuals.

Joel Leyden's professional digital PR work has been featured in The New York Times, CNN, FOX News, The Washington Post, AP, Reuters, The Jerusalem Post, USA Today and TIME magazine.

Joel Leyden is reaching out to several digital PR firms in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Greece,

"It's a whole new world out there," says Joel Leyden. "Our weapons in protecting our clients used to be a press release and a fax machine. Today, we use professional branding and copywriting professionals who live and breath Facebook and Twitter. And if need be - a call to local law enforcement."

Joel Leyden concludes: "When you integrate extensive, professional knowledge of the Web, of how Google and social media work along with the telephone numbers of your local police and FBI, you create a potent team which protects against harassment, cyber stalking, spam, scams, abusive threats and commercial, physical and emotional injury."

How to Find an Honest, Digital PR / SEO Company

How to Find an Honest, Digital PR / SEO Company

Expert Author Joel Leyden

One of the greatest challenges facing any international business today is being found on the Internet.

The Internet has changed the fundamental means for how we conduct international business. It provides instant, real time answers to many of our daily commercial and personal questions. But now that you have a Website, can your site be found when one performs a search on Google, Yahoo, Bing, Live.com or AOL for your company's product or service?
Chances are that when another domestic or international business seeks to find your products or services, they will not find you. Most Webmasters deal only with design and layout. They are graphic artists who have learned a little bit of HTML. They copy and paste written copy into a table and upload. They are not expected to be professionals in the art of international Internet marketing nor should they be.

The Internet is a big place. An expanding and creative digital universe which demands a variety of professionals in hardware, software, graphics, copy writing, international marketing, domain retailers, operations, finance, journalism, advertising and public relations. But where can we find that magician called an SEO or search engine optimization international marketing professional?

We find an avalanche of companies advertising themselves using Google AdWords as SEO international Internet marketing and Web promotion professionals. But sad to say, over 80 percent of these companies know very little about SEO Internet marketing and much about how to take your hard earned money.
In May of 2006 the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) announced that Internet advertising revenues reached a new record of $3.9 billion for the first quarter of 2006. The 2006 first quarter revenues represent a 38 percent increase over Q1 2005 at $2.8 billion and a 6 percent increase over Q4 2005 total at $3.6 billion.
Last year, AdWords alone generated $3.4 billion for Google.
With the Internet being the place to secure market share, many charlatans and wannabe international Internet marketing professionals are surfacing - thieves who know little more than how to cash your check and disappear quickly.

So how does one go about shopping for an honest and successful company which specializes in international marketing and public relations on the Internet?

You must ask several questions. Problem is, most companies seeking international SEO Internet marketing support do not know the questions to ask. Leyden Communications (Israel) provides below a list of questions for every company from Tel Aviv, London, Washington and New York, to Paris, Japan, India and China to ask the SEO or international Internet marketing company before they sign a contract.

First, if your target audience is New York, London, Manchester or Los Angeles, or any native English speaking market, be certain to hire a native from that country. One whose English is at mother tongue level and understands the marketing culture of your target market. If you do hire an Israeli, make certain that they have lived and worked in your target market locale for at least ten years.

Second, you want to know what experience and for how many years they have worked with international marketing, conventional distribution channels, sales, marcom, viral marketing, production of brochures, advertising and public relations?

Third, what professional experience do they have in copy writing, journalism and research?

Fourth, what practical experience do they have in programming?

And last but not least, how long have they been working on the Internet?

An international Internet marketing professional must wear many hats to succeed. The Internet SEO must be an experienced international marketing or PR person - one who understands how to penetrate and motivate a market outside of Israel without the Internet. They need to understand the basics of international marketing, branding, distribution and sales channels in order for them to integrate the digital world with the classic print, broadcast media and sales markets. The SEO must be an accomplished, creative and professional writer who can write for both the reader and the search engine.

This article is an example of how one writes for both the reader and the Google and Yahoo search engines. The English suffers a bit as the writer finds a fine balance between getting your attention and the eyes of the search engines. But what is more important? The search engine!
For if your customers in the UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Japan and South Korea do not find your Website, then having a Website with the best of conventional copy writing will find itself lost in cyberspace.

Can you find a Webmaster, Internet graphic design, Internet programmer, professional Internet marketing, international marketing guru and professional journalist and or copywriter all in one person?

Many in Israel will tell you yes. I say, you will be lucky to find a team with each one of these professionals in no more than perhaps three international Internet SEO marketing companies in Israel.

What then would be the real acid test for securing a professional SEO - search engine optimization Web promotion marketing company in Israel, New York, London, Paris or Beijing?
Simply perform a search on Google for "Israel Internet Marketing" or "Israel International Marketing."

If the Digital PR / SEO company you are talking to in Israel is not listed in the top ten, you must ask yourself one question: "How can they rank you, without the continued use of an expensive Google AdWords campaign, in a top ten position?"

Google AdWords are a very powerful advertising tool used by SEO international Internet marketing companies in Israel, but they are not a substitute for having your commercial Website stand on its own digital legs. AdWords are not a substitute for getting out optimized news stories on Google News and PR news releases in to the many corners of the Net. AdWords do not substitute for creating blogs, professional rooms and forums in Google and Yahoo and the creation of videos for YouTube.

Can a native born SEO in Israel find, let alone professionally write the English, French, Spanish or China copy and news you need for your Website and for international blogs and news releases?
Are they fluent in a variety of Israel export and import markets relating to hi tech, food, defense technology, agriculture, biotech, security, real estate, chemicals, metals, gaming, politics, crisis communications, education, plastics, music, shopping, telecommunications, sales, stocks, manpower, diamonds, Judaica, office products, food, beverages, tourism, games, textiles, dating, health, sports, news, videos, clothes, hotels, airlines and rental cars?

Allow the native Israel SEO to market your products and services to domestic markets and sales cultures that they know best - Tel Aviv, Ra'anana, Ashdod, Herzlia, Afula, Haifa, Jerusalem, Kiryat Shomona and Eilat.

Never look at office size as a measure of success. What you are paying for is knowledge and talent. Many SEO professionals and their complimentary staff of copy writers and programmers may work from a home office in Israel. Again, judge their international Internet marketing success by the ranking of their clients and their own personal search engine optimization ranking on Google and Yahoo.

Never pay a maintenance fee. International Internet marketing SEO professionals are not servicing a car or cleaning a house. What you do want to invest in is more Web pages created by their Webmaster and more news stories and or news releases created by their PR firm to be placed on Google News.

Never pay all that they ask for up front. Unless you know the company a good policy is paying half before the work begins and the balance once the work is completed. It takes about three weeks to begin seeing the results of SEO or search engine optimization. Although with some Israel SEO, you can see rankings improve within a matter of days by using Alexa.com. In using Alexa.com, it is a tool that you can use, one that cannot be played with by the SEO or SEM company.
Lastly, if the SEO international Internet marketing company promises you a first place ranking, you will then know that they are bogus. No SEO or SEM can promise you something for which only Google, Yahoo, Bing, MSN and AOL control. They can promise you a higher ranking and depending on the link density of your industry maybe even a top ten position.
Remember that the top ten search engine position that we are talking about would not be a paid Google AdWords sponsored link. It is your Web site, your Web pages standing on their own two feet that counts. Also having an optimized news story about your company's products and services in a top ten position would equal your Website being in a high SEO ranking. In fact, as long as the SEO news / public relations story is in a high position, it reinforces your credibility as it serves as third party endorsement. It is far more potent than your Website ranking, as long as the story has a link to your Website.
Your first stop in hiring an international Internet marketing company in Israel is a Google search.
Your second stop is to meet the SEO and SEM - search engine marketing team. If you don't see a native English speaking, experienced international marketing professional who understands terminology such as POP, embassy commercial attache department, Israel Export Institute, packaging, four color bleed and what an optimized SEO news headline on the Internet looks like - keep walking.

Blizzard, Red Bull, Valentines Day Draws Thousands To Mount Snow

Blizzard, Red Bull, Valentines Day Draws Thousands To Mount Snow

New York City --- February 10, 2013 …Mount Snow, in West Dover, Vermont will be attracting thousands of skiers in the coming days.

After Blizzard Nemo blanketed the mountain with over a foot of fresh snow, all trails are expected to be open on a sunny Sunday.

Ski towns in Vermont were hit with wind gusts of up to 45 mph on Saturday, which forced Mount Snow to close certain lifts until the winds died down. Mount Snow, for example, was only about half open, though the new blizzard snowfall has now opened up 100 percent of its slopes for Sunday. Mount Snow's lifts are designed to handle high winds, says spokesman Dave Meeker.

The new “bubble” lift, for one, weighs a heavy 1,300 pounds before skiers climb aboard, and was designed aerodynamically to withstand strong winds; a shield completely encases riders so they stay comfortable on the way up.

If skiers and boarders decide they can’t handle it, resorts including Mount Snow, Hunter, Ski Sundown and Smuggler's Notch have snow guarantee policies that allow people to return their lift tickets within an hour in exchange for a voucher to return later.

But for those heading to Mount Snow on Sunday and the week ahead, can expect perfect ski conditions, sun, little wind and temperatures in the high 20's.

Mount Snow, with its 80 trails and 20 lifts, is hosting special Cloud Nine Nuptials on Valentines Day, February 14th. The southern Vermont ski and golf resort is also offering a deal for Valentine’s Day consisting of two lift tickets for $49 when purchased in advance online. Your wedding procession will be hosted by Mount Snow with a ride up a chairlift, the altar is a podium positioned at the pinnacle of a heart painted on the snow, and formal footwear is replaced with ski or snowboard boots. That will be the scene for "ski couples" wanting to renew their vows or tie the knot for the first time at a very romantic summit.

The fun continues the next day with the Red Bull Frozen Rush. For the first time ever, a short course off-road Pro4 racing truck will take to the snow in Vermont’s Green Mountains to battle gravity and the elements. The four-wheel drive vehicle, designed to handle just about anything a summertime off-road speedway can throw at it, will face an onslaught of new challenges when it enters Mount Snow's winter’s frozen playground. Soft snow, steep terrain, ice and freezing temperatures is a recipe for disaster in any vehicle, but that won’t slow down champion off-road racer, Ricky Johnson. Armed with a set of custom spiked and specially designed tires from BFGoodrich’s Research and Development team, Ricky will wager his skills, experience, and even his truck’s capabilities as he attempts to conquer the slopes.

Mount Snow, the largest and closet ski mountain to both Boston and New York, has been well known since 1954 for its warm environment and emphasis of placing safety first on the mountain. Recently, Mount Snow spent over $8.5 million on new ski lifts. The Bluebird Express just went into operation as a technologically advanced chairlift and it is nothing short of incredible. The bubbles on each chair can be lowered by the passengers to provide similar protection as a gondola cabin, but with the convenience of keeping skis and boards on their feet. The seven minute ride from base to summit is so smooth the only reason you would want it to end is so you can enjoy another amazing run down one of Mount Snow’s 80 trails.

Mount Snow has earned several awards for customer service. When Mother Nature is not making snow, Mount Snow is. Before the recent blizzard, Mount Snow was functioning beautifully with over 50 trails on a combination of natural and man made white gold. And during these difficult times, the skiing was excellent. One can only imagine what kind of winter paradise awaits both new and expert skiers with a fresh, natural coating of over 15 inches from the sky.

Hey, we forgot something. In addition to the new powder at Mount Snow the Bud Light Mardi Gras awaits you after finishing a long, challenging run tomorrow. Is it Mount Snow or Mount Fun?

Drive safe, ski safe and don't forget to take the sunglasses!
