Shame On The Presbyterian Church

By Joel Leyden

In 2002, I and several other Israeli soldiers defended the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem against a Palestinian, Islamic Jihad attack. We protected this Christian Holy place with our lives!

Today the Presbyterian Church states that Israel has no right to defend herself against Islamic Jihad attacks. The Presbyterian Church says that Israel is hurting the Palestinians.

This is not true.

Israel wants peace. And we do all we can to defend ourselves as we reach out for peace with the Palestinians. This includes security checkpoints against suicide bombers who only believe in the destruction of Israel.

Please do not dare to tell us that our biblical, ancient land in Judea and Samaria is occupied. That Israel is breaking international law with illegal settlements. Please tell us which international law Israel is violating?

Both Christians and Jews face a war of Islamic Jihad - a holy war against the "infidels".

Before you vote for BDS against Israel, take a walk down a street in Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran or Egypt. Tell us where you feel safer - Israel or Iran?

The Presbyterian Church has just shamed all good Christians.
May Christ forgive you .........
